GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

Important General Instructions:

• Kindly bind new books before returning them to school. Please keep CDs with you for home use.

• Always send a written application for leave sanction for your ward.

• School fees do not include charges for books and uniforms.

• Attend Parent-Teacher meetings regularly.

• School bags will be sent home on weekends; however, workbooks such as drawing and writing books will remain in school (Nursery to Grade III).

• Take good care of your ward’s school bag at home and ensure your ward comes to school with a complete bag.

• A RO filter is installed on the school campus; hence, please do not send your ward with a water bottle.

• Keep the phone number of your ward’s bus driver handy.

• When visiting the school, please carry the reference card of your ward.

• On rainy days, buses will not travel on muddy roads.

Essentials to be Carried Every Day to School:

• Student ID card

• School bag

• School diary

• Tiffin box

• Handkerchief

Items Not Allowed to be Carried to School:

• Expensive and flashy items such as watches and jewellery

• Electronic gadgets like iPods, cell phones, Discman/Walkman, CDs, CD players, handheld video games, etc.

• Toys, balls, and sporting equipment

• Inappropriate books, magazines, cassettes with racist, communal, or obscene content

Any prohibited items found will be confiscated and will not be returned. Disciplinary action will be taken as deemed necessary by the school authorities.

Lost and Found:

• The school is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

• Parents should contact the Help Desk personally within 2 working days if an item is lost.

• If the lost item is not traced within this period, it will be considered lost and the school will not be liable.

Transport Queries:

• Please direct all transport-related queries to the Help Desk / Transport In-Charge: 98155-12579.

Security:

• Parents and visitors are requested to cooperate with security personnel.

• All visitors must sign in at the security cabin at the main gate and report to the Help Desk.

• Students will be handed over only to individuals holding the ward’s reference card.

Teacher-Parent Communication:

• The school diary contains a designated section for teacher-parent communication and is the recommended way to communicate.

• Parents are requested not to send messages on loose paper as they may get misplaced.

• It is mandatory for parents to read and acknowledge the student diary daily, checking for notes, suggestions, or remarks.

• Parents should also regularly review circulars and notices on the school website.

• Ensure your child attends school in a neat and clean uniform.

• Cooperation between parents and the school is essential for the student’s success.

• Inform the school promptly of any changes in address, mobile number, or landline number.

• Note: Every second Saturday is a holiday.

• Kindly sign your ward’s diary daily and record the study hours.

School Fees:

• Fees are payable quarterly in advance.

• Fees once paid are non-refundable.

• A late fee of Rs. 5/- per day will be charged if payment is delayed beyond the prescribed dates.
