At Green Valley Public School, the House System is designed to instill a sense of identity, pride, and belonging among students within a nurturing and secure environment. It encourages healthy competition, builds leadership skills, and fosters a strong teacher-student rapport.
Each student is assigned to one of the four houses, named in honor of the brave Sahibzadas, symbolizing courage, discipline, and unity:
🔴 Sahibzada Ajit Singh House (Red)
🟢 Sahibzada Jujhar Singh House (Green)
🔵 Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House (Blue)
🟡 Sahibzada Fateh Singh House (Yellow)
These houses compete throughout the year in a range of sporting, academic, cultural, and creative events. Participation and effort are rewarded with House Points, including recognition for monthly academic effort and participation.
At the end of each session, the house with the highest score is awarded the prestigious House Shield and accolades, celebrating teamwork and dedication.
The House System embodies our core values of:
🌱 Self-development
🧠 Intellectual empowerment
📘 Life-long learning
🤝 Unity in diversity
It is not just a structure, but a living part of the school’s culture, promoting leadership, cooperation, and community spirit among all students.
